Where did they film the scene where Ser Dontos gives Sansa a necklace?
The unique clearing with a distinct rock table is found in the Trsteno Arboretum in Trsteno, Croatia. This arboretum was the setting for several “Game of Thrones” scenes in seasons 3 and 4.
Finding the clearing is easy. Just follow the pathway from the main building (summerhouse) to the water fountain. The clearing is on the left side, halfway to the fountain.
About the Trsteno Arboretum
The Trsteno Arboretum, dating back to the 15th century, is renowned as the oldest arboretum in this part of the world. To irrigate the garden, a viaduct was built to connect the park to a fountain. This fountain now serves as an irrigation system for various exotic trees and plants. Since 1948, the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts has maintained the garden.

He gives her his mother’s necklace as a thank-you. Sansa initially refuses the gift, but Ser Dontos tells her that the necklace is the only thing left from his once-strong family. He asks her to take it and wear it so that his name has meaning before it disappears from the world. Moved by his plea, Sansa accepts the necklace.
