“One day I pray you love someone. I pray you love her so much, when you close your eyes you see her face. I want that for you. I want you to know what it’s like to love someone, to truly love someone, before I take her from you.”
Cersei Lannister
Where did they film the “Pyke’s Harbor” scene?
The “Pyke’s Harbor” scene was filmed at Ballintoy Harbor, located near the town of Ballycastle, Northern Ireland. Although part of the village Ballintoy, the harbor is separate, lying 20 minutes to the south on foot.
In the fictional world of the series, the harbor goes by the name of Lordsport. Since Pyke castle doesn’t have its port, Theon must find transportation to reach it.

Myrcella Leaving King’s Landing
(Season 2, Episode 6: “The Old Gods and the New”)
Tyrion Lannister arranges a marriage between Myrcella Lannister and Trystane Martell during his time as the Hand of the King. The arrangement dictates that the princess travels to Dorne immediately and marries Trystan when she comes of age. The scene captures Myrcella’s departure on a boat headed for Dorne, while her family sadly watches from the shore. On the beach, Cersei utters a foreboding wish to Tyrion, signifying her malice and bitterness.
Jammie Lannister returns with Myrcella in a coffin
(Season 6, Episode 1: “The Red Woman,”)
The viewer’s heart is further broken in as Jamie Lannister returns to the beach with Myrcella’s coffin.
This particular beach in Dubrovnik has thus become synonymous with both the joy of new beginnings and the sorrow of untimely endings in the “Game of Thrones” universe. Whether visiting virtually or in person, fans can explore this beautiful location, rich with the history of both our world and the fictional world of Westeros.
