Ariadne gets stabbed by Mal
Ellen Page’s character, Ariadne, learns how to manipulate a dream and uses this ability as she walks the streets with Cobb, portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio. At a bridge adorned with iron pillars, she places two large mirrors facing each other, creating an infinity projection of her and Cobb. A mesmerizing moment occurs when she touches one mirror, and it splinters. Cobb, although impressed, recalls a haunting memory of the bridge with his wife Mal (Marion Cotillard). He warns Ariadne against recreating real places in a dream, but his subconscious takes over, leading to a chaotic scene and Ariadne’s stabbing by Mal.
